What is the difference between net quantity and order quantity?
Net quantity is the measured in-place requirement before allowances. Order quantity adds documented waste and converts the result to the selected product's actual purchasable unit.
Should labor and pricing be included in a material takeoff?
Keep them separate from the quantity record. A quantity takeoff can feed a later cost estimate, but labor, equipment, overhead, markup, taxes, and current supplier pricing require their own inputs.
Can ProjectQty read a blueprint automatically?
